How am I keeping you safe during COVID-19? (Updated March 2022)
- I’ve cut the class sizes to only 11 families (it was 9 at the height of Covid and was 14 pre-Covid) so we still have plenty of distance. I’ve opened the windows, and we have two sets of equipment (one for each class), so nothing is passed from one child to another.
- This is the first term where I’m not asking masks to be worn by grown ups, unless you want to. The research of the early years groups and music-in-community-settings groups that I belong to has meant that this feels like the right decision for now. I’m balancing the safety of you and your extended families, and the importance of seeing each other’s faces for little ones. However, if things change eg. a new variant arises, or something else that means that Covid risks increase, I will be asking adults to wear masks again… so if that’s a deal breaker for you, please don’t sign up.
- Little ones are free to move around and explore (which is what little ones do!) If you have any other questions, do ask me!
I wrote this Mask song at the height of the pandemic – at a time when it all felt a bit daunting to be wearing masks. Although we aren’t wearing them anymore, I’m just leaving this song here… my two boys had so much fun recording this with me!
We will have so much fun and make so much great music together!
If you have symptoms on the day, obviously, we really need you to stay at home but you can send another family in your place, or contact me to see if you pop in on one of the other Mish Mash days that week
